Buri in Mont
Buri in Mont, is a young and small reality, established in 2005 with deep roots in the winemaking tradition of Buttrio as a tradition of the families of origin Parvano Ernesto and Croatto Giobatta, who filled the days of their lives with the culture of grapevine and wine.
Family-run company extends over 5 hectares of vineyards, located in the Municipality of Buttrio falling mainly in the "Colli orientali del Friuli" area, Loc. Buttrio in Monte and partly in the "Grave" area whose lands of Eocene origin defined as "Ponca" are particularly suited to viticulture as they are rich in mineral salts and microelements.
Excellent exposure of the plants, particularly in the hills where the average height of about 100 meters benefits from the ventilation coming from the sea and is protected behind by the Carnic Alps chain from the cold north winds.
The age of the plants varies from the most recent a few years as well as boasting a historic vineyard "La Vigne dal Floreo" whose planting period dates back to 1910 and turns out to be one of the first vineyards planted with grafted vines, a practice imposed by the devastating arrival of the filossera in the first decade of the twentieth century
